Manchester Tank & Equipment is seeking a Material Handler to support material handling of raw materials and finished products at our facility. Responsibilities include operating tow motors, loading/unloading, and moving materials within the plant and yard while following safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Completes daily safety audits on tow motor and fills out check sheets.
• Reads weekly schedule or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products throughout the work site.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on bins, baskets, or other containers.
• Drives safely and with caution.
• Looks for opportunity to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes and overall improvement efforts.
• Follows all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
• Read, understand, and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management.
• Shut down process if unsafe.
• Follow proper machine shutdown procedures.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
