Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay in South San Francisco is seeking a Material Handler to unload trucks and trailers, follow proper handling procedures, and move goods to workstations. You will sort donated items by category, label them, and help load shipments with appropriate equipment.

This entry-level, full-time role involves assisting drivers, counting inventory, and maintaining a safe dock area while supporting the organization's mission to empower individuals and strengthen families.

Qualifications

• Read and write English proficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Follow safety and quality standards; welcome feedback and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and trailers and deliver goods to workstations using proper equipment.
• Sort and label donated goods by category and place in containers.
• Perform inventory counts from invoices and packing slips during loading/unloading.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading and maintain dock area cleanliness.
• Complete production and inventory reports as needed.
