Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Ladson, SC is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers on a temp-to-perm basis. The role offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Pay starts at $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour bonus for second shift. Schedules include Sunday-Thursday and Monday-Friday with evening hours. Training is provided and 401(k) with company matching is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance guidelines and quality standards.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, bills of lading).

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $19.00 per hour
• Shift Pay $1.00 per hour when assigned to 2nd shift
• Schedules: Sunday - Thursday; 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM or until work is completed
• Monday - Friday; 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM or until work is completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
