Job summary

CCL Tube in Wilkes-Barre, PA is hiring a MATERIAL HANDLER for a 7am-7pm shift on a 12-hour rotation. The role involves moving, staging, and transporting materials within the warehouse to support production.

Pre-employment background and drug testing are required. The facility offers opportunities in a leading packaging and labeling company serving major consumer brands in personal care, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• In compliance with the Warehouse Safety Procedures, properly stages material in specified location
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed including trays for lines.
• Maintains proper inventory in resin room.
• Stores unused components and deissue to specified location.
• Moves finished product into specified area in the warehouse.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Lubricates truck, recharges batteries.
• Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel
