Job summary

ID Logistics US in Austell, GA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load, unload, stock, and move products using powered industrial equipment. You will maintain a neat, safe workspace and assist in inventory counts.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment daily, following OSHA standards, ensuring accurate shipments, and coordinating with Customer Service and Transportation. A GED and 3+ years related experience preferred; post-hire certifications may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA).
  • Must wear PPE (footwear, eyewear, gloves) per safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
  • Inspect equipment daily and operate in a safe, efficient manner per OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations; ensure accuracy and absence of damage.
  • Keep accurate records to guarantee tight inventory control and security.
  • Assist in physical inventories and proper stock rotation.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance; follow safety rules.

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.

  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
  • On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
  • Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
  • Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
  • Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can't be self-corrected to the leadership team.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
