Job description

We are currently looking for a Material Handler - Door Puller to join our team to Pull doors, inserts and lites from the warehouse to supply the shops with material for assembly of pre-hung door units. In this role you will focus on:

Responsibilities:

• Batch paperwork by aisle for supply to the steel shop (wood shop is batched by scheduler)
• Pull doors, inserts and lites after scanning work order with a hand-held scanner
• Stage material in the correct order to supply the shop - inserts on cart to match the order of the doors
• Assure constant production flow by stacking material appropriately
• Make inventory adjustments when indicated
• Communicate constantly with the production scheduler, shop supervisor and department manager to assure continuing production in the shop.
• Use of forklift and order picker required

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and understand English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-worker
• Forklift and order picker experience
