Job summary

SCHWINGAmerica is seeking a dependable Material Handler in Minnesota to receive, organize, stock, and distribute materials across the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include packaging shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting timely production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in warehouse or distribution, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate inventory and shipping systems.
• Ability to read and verify shipping documents, packing lists and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts and materials according to production schedules and deliver them to designated assembly areas.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory records.
• Stock warehouse materials, maintain organized inventory locations, and establish locations for new stock items.
• Prepare, package, crate, and ship domestic spare parts orders, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
• Review daily shipping schedules and verify orders, Bills of Lading, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely move material throughout the facility.
• Coordinate with production leads and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and fulfillment of backorders.
• Distribute incoming materials to appropriate departments and coordinate weldment inspections and rejected material returns.
• Maintain adequate supplies of shipping and packaging materials.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers.
• Enter and update shipping, receiving, and inventory information in computersystems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
