Job summary

Vault Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations in Louisville, KY. You will manage material flow, operate forklifts and related equipment, and use RF scanners for accurate inventory control. A strong focus on safety and OSHA compliance is essential.

The role includes loading/unloading, organizing storage, and assisting in shipping/receiving, with emphasis on maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology is advantageous.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes safely.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using equipment such as pallet jacks, hi-los, and forklifts.
• Accurately track inventory levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure proper stock levels.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly documented.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipment while adhering to quality control standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents.
