Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year of manufacturing experience, preferred.
• CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level, preferred.
• Possess or be able to obtain Worksaver Operator Certification.
• Possess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
• Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supply materials to the Pouching line and operate line machinery.
• Identify each truck and transport filled bags using a PIT.
• Pre-Op and change out batteries on the PIT.
• Keep the truck loader supplied with empty trucks to be loaded.
• Restock production supplies as indicated on BOM.
• Operate and adjust automated line equipment and pouching machines.
• Perform maintenance on pouch sealer, trucks and belts.
• Document manufacturing logs and logs in POMS system.
• Visually inspect bags for defects and log findings.
• Perform scheduled quality checks with gauges and scales.
