Job summary

WTX Supply and Fabrication is seeking a Material Handler in Pearland to move, stage, and manage materials across warehouse and yard. You will ensure inventory integrity and support fabrication with BOM materials, using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and following safety procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and solid communication. Candidates should be able to operate forklifts and lifting equipment, and read pick lists and BOMs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read picklists, packing slips, purchase orders, and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail; team-oriented and reliable.
• Clear communication with supervisors, coworkers, and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and move materials per WMS procedures.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive inbound materials and complete put-away as directed.
• Supply fabrication with BOM materials as required.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventories.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse locations.
• Report inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, and operational issues to supervision.
• Follow all company safety, operational, and quality procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the role:

The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, handling, and staging of materials throughout the warehouse and yard. This role supports warehouse and fabrication operations and maintains inventory integrity by performing all material transactions in accordance with company procedures and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Roles/Tasks of the Position:

• Pull, stage, and move materials in accordance with established WMS procedures.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive inbound materials and complete put-away as directed.
• Supply the fabrication team with materials per Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as assigned.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse storage locations.
• Report inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, and operational issues to supervision.
• Follow all company safety, operational, and quality procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
