Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes is seeking a Material Handler / Warehouse Parts Stocker to receive, organize, stock, and distribute materials across the warehouse and production areas. You will help ensure inventory is accurate, accessible, and safely stored to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years experience in a similar role.
• OSHA forklift certification is an advantage.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

About The Role

The Material Handler / Warehouse Parts Stocker is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, and distributing materials and parts throughout the warehouse and production areas. This position ensures inventory is accurately stored, readily available, and safely handled to support production and operational needs.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, inspect, and stock materials, parts, and supplies in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull and stage materials for production orders and departmental requests.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Transport materials and parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
• Organize warehouse locations and maintain proper labeling of inventory.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently to prevent damage or loss.
• Identify shortages, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
