Job description

Material Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Serves as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education: None

Minimum Experience: None

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance. Able to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours. Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces. Capable of stacking packages above head if required. Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs/ladders if needed. Must complete all basic and currency training. Effective communication in noisy environments is required.

Job Conditions: Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motorized conveyances. Ability to work alert and safely at all times.
