Job summary

Epic Piping is seeking a Material Handler to support the Fabrication team on national and global projects. You will ensure safe handling, verify material deliveries, and assist in staging materials for production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of relevant experience, with on-site responsibilities and opportunities for career growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant material handling experience.
• Computer skills: Not applicable.
• Certifications: None specifically required.

• Confirm accuracy of material being delivered and pulled to production bays.
• Assist in developing relevant processes and procedures.
• Address material shorts as requested by Material Control.
• Perform material reconciliations at job closeouts as requested.
• Safely operate manual handling equipment and proper stacking/pulling processes.

What You’ll Do

• Comply and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
• Confirm accuracy of material being delivered.
• Confirm accuracy of material being pulled and delivered to production bays.
• Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures.
• Address material shorts as requested by Material Control.
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Safely operate any manual handling equipment required to perform responsibilities.
• Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
• Safely utilize ramp to load and unload materials.
