Job summary

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join our Pipe Support team. You’ll help ensure accurate material delivery and handling on national and global projects.

This role emphasizes safety, compliance, teamwork with Material Control and production bays, and participation in process improvements. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience are preferred.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
• Confirm accuracy of material delivered.
• Confirm accuracy of material pulled and delivered to production bays.
• Assist in development of processes and procedures.
• Address material shorts as requested by Material Control.
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts.
• Safely operate manual handling equipment as required.
• Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
• Safely load and unload materials using ramps.

What you’ll do:

• Comply and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
• Confirm accuracy of material being delivered.
• Confirm accuracy of material being pulled and delivered to production bays.
• Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures.
• Address material shorts as requested by Material Control.
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Safely operate any manual handling equipment required to perform responsibilities.
• Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
• Safely utilize ramp to load and unload materials.

What you’ll need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred
• Experience: 1 Year of Relevant Experience
• Computer Skills: Not Applicable
• Certification/Licenses: None specifically required
