Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services is hiring a Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations at our Houston facility. You will receive, stock, and move materials, pull items for production, and prepare goods for shipping while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Ability to follow inventory procedures and stay organized.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Physical fitness to perform job duties including standing and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks to load/unload materials from trucks.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming materials daily.
• Pull materials and work orders to support production operations.
• Restock excess materials in designated locations.
• Create inventory tags and ensure proper attachment.
• Pull and stage finished goods for shipping as required.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves and warehouse areas.
• Assist with waste handling areas and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams.
