Job summary

Atkore is hiring a Material Handler in Eugene to package finished pipe in crates, perform quality checks, and move products through the line. The role requires strong math, attention to detail, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

Shifts include day and night options with potential overtime and benefits. As part of the team, you will follow safety rules, maintain clean work areas, and help with production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math for counting and calculations.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
• Shows initiative and adaptability to changing work conditions.
• Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Package finished pipe in crates in correct quantities.
• Perform quality checks on production runs.
• Weigh and transport finished product.
• Cut crate boards to proper lengths.
• Process regrind as needed.
• Maintain and clean production and storage areas.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE.
