Job summary

Atkore is seeking a dependable Material Handler II for our Tampa, FL facility. This role handles packing finished goods, monitors product quality, and assists in startup or changeovers while keeping work areas clean and organized.

Night or Day shift options are available. Responsibilities include bundling pipe to inventory specs, updating hour-by-hour boards, operating machinery, and supporting quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update hour by hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
