Job summary

Majestic Custom in Houston, TX is seeking a material handler to move and stage materials using lift trucks and overhead cranes. You will review counts, inspect equipment, and work with a team to meet daily goals in a dynamic service center.

Ideal candidates will have minimal warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures while lifting up to 50 pounds and handling varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience required.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Pay: Starting rate is $19.00/ hour; could be eligible for more based on experience
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM, with overtime as required

What You Will Do:

• Move Material: Operate lift trucks or overhead cranes to transport, store, rotate, and stage materials within the service center, review product counts to ensure accuracy
• Maintain Safety: Perform daily lift truck inspections, move up and down from lift truck, and report any equipment issues
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills :Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes & procedures, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

What Makes You Stand Out:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of lift truck operation experience
• One (1) year of overhead crane operation experience
• Lift truck experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more)
