Job summary

Ideal Tridon in Smyrna, TN is hiring a Material Handler for 2nd and 3rd shift. You will move parts between assembly stations, help maintain inventory, and support on-time order fulfillment in a manufacturing environment. The role requires forklift experience (sit-down 1-2 years; counter balance preferred) and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Training for counterbalance is available. RF scanners and shipping software are used daily.

We are seeking a Material Handler on 2nd and 3rd shift to join our team at Wesanco!

Schedule and Shift:

• 2nd 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday
• 3rd 11:00pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate $20.00:

• 2nd Shift receives a $1.00 shift differential
• 3rd Shift receives a $1.50 shift differential

Work Schedule: **Must be open to working Saturdays (same scheduled time as above) and OT as necessary**

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver parts to and from assembly stations & in-process storage.
• Operate a counter balance forklift will be a requirement once trained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Process orders accurately using RF scanners & shipping software.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience of counter balance forklift would be outstanding! If not, 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience and willingness to train is MANDATORY to learn counterbalance forklift.
• Minimum 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Loading flatbeds with the correct product and adhering to the truck driver's guidelines.
• Checking product thoroughly to make sure the correct product and amount is being picked before loading or restocking in the warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail & inventory accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to50lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
