Pay range: $16.77 - $20.96

YOUR ROLE

Are you skilled in equipment operation and passionate about warehouse logistics and organization? Do you enjoy working in a clean, efficient warehouse environment? If so, this role offers you the chance to execute operational processes and contribute to a safe, efficient warehouse operation.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including collaboration, timely communication, and operational assistance.
• Perform manual labor such as picking inventory, counting cargo, staging, loading, and using manual equipment like hand trucks or pallet jacks. Operate hand tools for closing/opening bales, building or tearing down crates, and packaging.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the assigned area. Prepare and assemble orders, move materials from receiving or production to storage or other areas.
• Manage sorting and placement of materials on racks, shelves, pallets, or in bins based on size, type, or other characteristics; may involve complex or multi-cell operations and full training.
• Potentially serve as a lead operator in smaller teams or standard operations, assisting with training and work instructions for new hires or transfers.
• Operate a forklift when trained and certified, avoiding the most complex or heavy transports.
• Complete forms, labels, and documents to ensure inventory accuracy and monitor receipt/delivery of goods, involving knowledge of various operations.
• Identify operational or service concerns, notify relevant team members, and assist in resolving issues. Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks like cleaning, proper storage, and basic preventative maintenance.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• High School Diploma or GED; at least two years of warehousing or logistics experience, or completion of a rotation program.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3-6 months; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, basic proficiency in internet and software applications; forklift certification when required.
• Prompt and professional response to customer needs; ability to work in a team; ability to read and complete basic documents.
