Afinitas is seeking a reliable manufacturing operator to support nesting processes and operate plasma, laser, brake, saw, and crane equipment in a plant environment.

You will organize parts, maintain safety and housekeeping, and assist in other areas as needed. Prior machine operation experience is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing processes of nesting, primary functions.
• Usage of plasma, laser, brake, saw and overhead crane machines.
• Forklift operation, keeping area safe organized and clean.
• Organizing parts to ensure easy access for other areas.
• Willing to assist in other areas when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to multi-task simultaneously, able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Have good housekeeping skills and strict adherence to safety.
• Take personal ownership and pride or quality work in the department.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous machine operating experience is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
