Job summary
The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to manage shipping transactions, create documents and labels, and receive deliveries. The role supports packaging operations and ensures accurate ERP entries in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and proven shipping/receiving experience, forklift proficiency, and strong computer skills. This on-site position comes with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Shipping and receiving experience including familiarity with UPS and FedEx systems.
- Experience moving pallets and drums with a forklift.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents and product labels.
- Prepare finished goods for final shipment with correct labeling and packaging.
- Complete shipping documentation and ERP data entries.
- Manage finished goods inventory and overstock items.
- Receive deliveries and complete associated paperwork and ERP entries.
- Follow SOPs and work instructions for the area.
