Altec in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a Material Handler for 2nd or 3rd shift to support parts distribution and production flow. Employees will receive training and opportunities for growth within Altec, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Candidates should have forklift experience, be able to read engineering drawings, and possess basic computer skills including bar-coding. CDL is desirable, with a commitment to safety and Lean initiatives.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Material Handling and forklift experience.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawings.
• 2nd or 3rd shift availability; CDL desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality and timely workmanship on each job.
• Follow established safety and quality policies and practices.
• Learn and follow all work instructions.
• Learn and operate all equipment within the department.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Rotate responsibilities as needed.
• Computer program usage – Oracle database / Altec Navigator.

Competitive Starting Wage with Shift Differential (2nd and 3rd shift)

The Material Handler receives and delivers parts and materials to stocking areas, production areas, and other departments. These positions could be for the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Material Handling/Forklift experience
• Computer skills including bar-coding; ability to read and understand technical documents – i.e., engineering drawings
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• CDL desirable
• Technical/Vocational Training preferred
