Job Information

Objective: Transfer material manually by hand, using a manual pallet jack, or a lifting device attached to a hoist as outlined in standard work procedures. Operate sit-down, stand-up, and high-reach lifts.

Role & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device attached to a hoist.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices manually as needed.
• Manually load parts from racks, tubs, and bins in the warehouse to trays or rack kit carts.
• Follow set routes through the department to load kit carts.
• Load and unload parts manually from the paint line.
• Maintain safety checks on necessary equipment.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently, in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Use electronic scanners to transact material as needed.

Other Duties

• Keep aisles clean and organized.
• Assist in instructing and training others as requested by supervisor.
• Complete preventive maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Follow established methods and procedures; perform work accordingly.
• Ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0-2 years.
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
