Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the night shift in Phoenix, AZ. You will support operations by moving material and inventory, using hand trucks, conveyors and other equipment to keep the facility running smoothly.

Qualifications include being at least 18, basic math, and ability to read safety and operating instructions. A minimum of 1 year warehouse experience is preferred, with flexible hours and possible overtime.

Night Shift: Sunday - Tuesday, 6:30pm - 7:00am; Plus an additional 4 hours on Wednesday

Whatyou'lldo on a typical day:

Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility

Use hand trucks,conveyorsor other material handling equipment

Perform duties that may include packing, scanning,kittingor counting products

Verify orders, labelproductsand use a handheld scanner

Adhere to the 7S program

Maintain a clean environment at all times

Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

What you need to succeed at GXO:

To be at least 18 years of age

The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operatinginstructionsand procedural documents

It'dbe great if you also have:

1 year of experience in a warehouse environment

Availability to work a flexible schedule, includingpossible overtimewhen needed

Experience using a handheld scanner

Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals andobjectives

This job requires the ability to:

Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.

Handle or manage tools or equipment

Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

Carry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50lbs, routinely

Stand for prolonged periods of time >4 hours

Walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per day

Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.
