Job summary

Tecan Austria GmbH in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a Material Handler/MRB Coordinator to ensure safe receiving, storage, and accurate tracking of materials. You will coordinate MRB activities and work with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Purchasing to resolve material discrepancies.

Ideal candidates have experience with inventory management systems, forklift operation, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in material handling, warehouse, stockroom, inventory, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy and documentation.
• Ability to use computer-based inventory or material management systems.
• Ability to accurately track materials, complete transactions, and maintain organized records.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to identify material discrepancies and follow established processes for handling nonconforming materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment.
• Receive, inspect, store, pick, pack, and distribute materials throughout the facility in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete material transactions using systems such as Manex and Spotlight.
• Perform inventory counts, assist with inventory reconciliation, and investigate material discrepancies.
• Coordinate MRB activities, including documentation, status tracking, communication, and disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Monitor and respond to email communications and provide timely updates regarding material status, discrepancies, and MRB activities.
