Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Material Handler I to support daily waste processing operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years warehouse or related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely and efficiently.
• Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
• Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
• Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
• Weigh box waste and accurately record processing information.
• Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Keep work areas, unloading zones, and equipment clean and organized.
• Perform general housekeeping and facility cleanup tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Track and document daily processing and production volumes.
• Work closely with team members to support daily operations.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
