Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on inventory control, parts receiving and delivery, and maintaining an organized stock room to support manufacturing needs.

The candidate will ensure parts conform to ESD standards, manage bin locations, and perform cycle counts while supporting KPI targets and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Requires the physical ability to lift 10 pounds.
• Stand 8 hours consistently and handle lifting/pushing/pulling.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP and ServiceNow is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Parts receiving and delivery.

• Ensure FIFO based on part age.
• Control parts to minimize cost and maintain quality.
• Ensure parts meet ESD standards and are kept in good condition.
• Organize non-conforming parts and move to designated area.
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Turn in KPI reports daily and meet business requirements.
• Record daily ESD audit checks and follow 5S standards.

The MB Material Handler is responsible for inventory management, control and delivery.

Principle Accountabilities and Duties

• Parts/MB receiving and delivery.
• Manage parts and bin location.
• Organize warehouse and stock room.
• Build mockups for the lines.
• Record part usage history, order and keep enough part buffer for repair and rework.
• Make sure FIFO order based on the age of parts.
• Control parts and keep cost down to minimum.
• Make sure parts conform to ESD standard and keep in good condition. Prevent defective parts.
• Organize non-conforming parts and move to designated area.
• Do cycle count on periodic basis to make sure the inventory is accurate.
• Meet and exceed KPI defined to meet the business and operational requirement.
• Turn in KPI report on time, end of the working day.
• Check and keep record for ESD Audit daily.
• Follow 5S standard.
• Utilize the company’s time to be efficient and productive. This is including the punctuality from break and personal matter.
• When required, work assignment can changed based on project needs like inspection, testing, data input.

Qualifications: Competencies Required

• Requires the physical ability to lift 10 pounds
• Able to stand 8 hours consistently and push, pull, twist and lift at a minimum 10lbs container/boxes.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Knowledge using MS Excel, SAP, Service me.
