Job summary

Worthington Steel is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to move materials around the plant using a forklift and crane, support production, package and stage material, and prep machines for operation. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely work to maintain smooth manufacturing flow.

You'll build arbors, set up machines, track materials, and assist with housekeeping while following quality policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long shifts and perform physical work.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Read and follow detailed instructions.
• Understand English and safety policies.
• Read bill of material and production orders.
• Able to work with small parts.

Responsibilities

• Move material with forklift/crane for production.
• Ensure areas are stocked and finished skids moved to warehouse.
• Stage material for machine efficiency.
• Provide machine support and clear lines.
• Package finished product for shipment.
• Track orders and label parts.
• Follow bill of material for packaging.
• May perform finishing duties.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness.
