Job summary

NCBioImpact is seeking a Material Handler to manage materials and components, perform moves and documentation for pharmaceutical production under cGMP standards. The role includes unloading, inspecting, and delivering shipments, picking materials, and coordinating inter-site transport.

The ideal candidate can read and write English, communicate effectively, and operate SAP, Excel, Word, Flowlytics, pallet jacks, and forklifts. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division).
• Mechanical inclination and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience with computer programs such as Excel, Word, Flowlytics.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials as requested.

• Receive, inspect and deliver daily incoming shipments.
• Pick BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Complete pick-ups and deliveries between facility sites.
• Utilize SAP for more complex material transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Work under general supervision.
• Must have a Current Driver’s License.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Material Handler

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for all aspects of handling, moving, and tracking materials and components as well as completing documentation in support of and producing pharmaceutical products following cGMP regulatory standards, SOPs to ensure the product is safe, pure, and effective.

Job Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials as requested
• Inspect and Deliver incoming shipments
• Receive, inspect and deliver daily incoming shipments
• Pick BOM(s) (Bill of Materials)
• Complete pick-ups and deliveries between facility sites
• Utilize SAP for more complex material transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
• Work under general supervision
• Complete Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter
• Must have a Current Driver’s License
• Perform other duties as assigned
