Job summary

Exela Pharma Sciences, LLC is seeking a Material Handler in Lenoir, NC to handle, move, and track materials and components for pharmaceutical production in a cGMP environment. You will document processes and ensure materials flow between storage and production areas, following SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division).
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task and manage priorities.
• Proficient with computer programs such as Excel and Word.
• Experience operating a pallet jack and forklift.
• Experience using SAP for material transactions.

• Pick BOMs (Bill of Materials).

• Complete RCRA training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter.
• Must have a Current Driver’s License.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Material Handler

Position Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for all aspects of handling, moving, and tracking materials and components as well as completing documentation in support of and producing pharmaceutical products following cGMP regulatory standards, SOPs to ensure the product is safe, pure, and effective.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unload, move and store materials as requested
• Inspect and Deliver incoming shipments
• Receive, inspect and deliver daily incoming shipments
• Pick BOM(s) (Bill of Materials)
• Complete pick-ups and deliveries between facility sites
• Utilize SAP for more complex material transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
• Complete Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter
• Must have a Current Driver’s License
• Perform other duties as assigned
