Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads freight on or from trucks or other conveyances.
• Determines quantities of material on hand by counting, weighing or measuring.
• Identifies freight on government documents (GBL, DD1348, MMD, DCL, requisitions).
• Performs counts and records discrepancies; processes material to storage areas.
• Operates forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks and stock picking carts.
• May shovel snow and sweep loading areas and docks; may work outdoors.
• May attend training to handle all material types.
