Job summary

BlueScope Recycling is seeking a General Laborer to support production at facilities in Waterloo, IN, and Delta/Mansfield, OH. You will load/unload material, operate heavy equipment, and prepare items for processing under supervision.

Responsibilities include wrapping, stacking, building crates, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while participating in continuous improvement and following PPE requirements. overtime/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact with associates, customers, vendors, and the public.
• Problem solving and basic math skills.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from machines, conveyors using heavy equipment.
• Assist in placing products on equipment or surfaces.
• Wrap, stack and band material or products.
• Build crates.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Perform housekeeping and 5-S duties as assigned.
• Operate equipment and follow supervisor directions.
• Maintain PPE and safety standards.
