Material Handler III (Administrative)

Job Summary

Working under minimal supervision, the Material Handler III acts as the lead in the absence of the supervisor. Responsible for ensuring accuracy in SAP at all times. Following department procedures, should be able to perform at least three of the following tasks: RTS (Return to Stock), stockroom, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, or receiving. Reconcile inventory variances and make adjustments accordingly. Report line record accuracy to supervisor and manager. Occasionally, will act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the production line for issues related to inventory or shortages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Stockroom / RTS: Put material away in the stockrooms using RF scanners in SAP, verify transactions, pull kits, split them as required, scan kits, count returned materials, maintain organized box build areas, and ensure kanbans are full. Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Receiving: Follow ISO procedures, validate carton counts against bills of lading, sign for delivered materials, validate purchase orders, complete receipts, and perform de-trash shipments. Perform other duties as assigned.
3. Receiving Inspection: Follow ISO procedures, verify packing slips and inventory, perform SAP transactions, conduct inventory adjustments, and maintain IPC's Standard-A-610 certification. Perform other duties as assigned.
4. Shipping: Follow ISO procedures, understand shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments, schedule transportation, and perform physical movements and system transactions accurately and safely.
5. Support work cells during month-end shipments, which may require extra hours. Operate material handling equipment as needed.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Requirements: Ability to present information effectively, define problems, operate a PC with Windows, use Jabil's software packages, write simple correspondence, and perform basic math, including reading and understanding instructions and visual aids.
