Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a MATERIAL HANDLER C at our Lewistown, PA facility. The role involves efficiently bringing supplies to production lines and keeping skid areas clear, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, basic math for change-overs, pallet and code familiarity, and strict adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines. Excellent attendance and the ability to work non-standard hours are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over’s.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over’s.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP’s), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
