Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Material Handler C to facilitate the movement of raw materials, cardboard, chips and scrap for the Extrusion Department. The role requires adherence to SOPs, cGMP, and safety policies, with exposure to heat and physical tasks.

Responsibilities include assisting with pallet handling, ensuring accurate material ordering for change-overs, and maintaining safe, compliant warehouse operations. High school diploma and good communication skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Become familiar with film, chip and corrugated codes.
• Must show basic familiarity with truck operations.
• Be able to properly complete a pre-shift truck inspection, as well as complete P.M. checklist daily.
• Know the proper placement of all finished product.
• Basic math skills to accurately order material needed for change-over's.
• Weight scrap gaylords at the end of the shift or at any change-over's.
• Understands the difference between A, B, Peco and Chep pallets
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
