Job description

Pittsfield Plastics Engineering is looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in supporting operators, processors, and supervisors to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, supporting operators with materials and resources, performing color changes, wrapping and labeling finished products, maintaining clean and organized work areas, transferring materials and products in the computer system, and communicating important production information between shifts. The position may also relieve Press Operators as needed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑minded, able to work well with others, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Manufacturing or plastics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
