Job Purpose: Maintain warehouse orderliness, ensure shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded, and perform material handling activities. Ensure safety policies are followed when operating forklifts and walkies. Reports to shift supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
  • Operate WMS and RF scanners; knowledge of QMS and Lean Warehousing is a plus.
  • Pull and stage parts for production; complete requisitions for shortages.
  • Package inventory and shipped items properly.
  • Follow safety policies when using lifting devices and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Learn daily warehouse operations.
  • Verify order accuracy and completeness.
  • Pick customer orders efficiently to minimize costs and ensure safety.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with urgency and accountability, with limited supervision.
  • Understand computers and handheld RF equipment.
  • Work well in a team and lead when needed.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and cover shifts.
  • Experience with sit-down forklifts, walkies, pallet building, and cross-docking.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of warehouse experience.
  • Stable work and attendance record.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
