Base pay range

$42,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for a growing distribution and logistics team based in Westmont, IL. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM) with occasional Saturday mornings, offering excellent exposure to ERP systems, cycle counting, and cross-functional warehouse operations.

The Inventory Control Clerk will play a vital role in executing scheduled inventory audits, maintaining system accuracy, and supporting the daily operations of the warehouse. This individual will collaborate closely with the Inventory Manager and warehouse personnel to ensure clean data and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Perform cycle counts on a quarterly schedule developed by the Inventory Manager

• 
  

  Maintain and update inventory records in ERP systems (NetSuite/RFSmart)

• 
  

  Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies and identify root causes

• 
  

  Assist with warehouse organization, consolidation, and general housekeeping

• 
  

  Communicate effectively over email and Microsoft Teams

• 
  

  Adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the day

• 
  

  Support potential transition into an Inventory Lead role

Qualifications:

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED required

• 
  

  1+ year of inventory or warehouse operations experience preferred

• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and record keeping

• 
  

  Comfortable learning and using ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)

• 
  

  Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours when needed

  Ability to work independently and within a team
