Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a Material Handler Lead role in Joliet, IL. Maintain warehouse area, ensure shipments are staged, checked, and loaded properly, and supervise material handling operations. Lift devices must be used safely in accordance with policies.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards while supporting efficient shipping and receiving functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Properly receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and knowledge of QMS/Lean Warehousing.
• Pull and stage parts for production and complete requisitions for shortages.
• Package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
• Follow safety policies while using forklifts/scissor lifts and maintain clean workplace.
• Learn day-to-day warehouse operations and verify orders for accuracy.
• Pick customer orders efficiently to minimize shipping cost and ensure product safety.
