Job summary

Southern Oregon Goodwill is hiring a Material Handler to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and support our mission to enable employment through donations-based programs. You will help lead a team dedicated to excellence while upholding sustainable practices and_client support within a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include inventories, housekeeping, assisting staff with client programs, weekend shifts, and routine equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Speak and understand English sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Experience in a retail or comparable environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform medium physical tasks and lift up to 20–50 pounds.

• Performs inventories, tallies, or other forms of tracking for retail and operations.
• Conducts general housekeeping functions (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, restroom maintenance).
• Assists GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and client programs as assigned by store manager.
• Works a variety of shifts including weekends.
• Performs daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
