Job summary

Southern Oregon Goodwill is hiring a Material Handler to support store operations, drive sales and help turn donations into jobs for our community. You will play a key role in receiving, stocking, inventory checks and keeping work areas safe and organized, while delivering excellent customer service and teamwork.

This position requires the ability to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Speak and understand English sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Able to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in retail or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventories and tracking as required for the retail and operation environments.
• Performs daily housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• Assists GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines for client programs.
• Works a variety of shifts including weekends.
• Performs daily checks and maintenance on equipment.
