Description

Acara Solutions has a Material Handler (Kitting) job in Garden Grove, CA. Our client is a leader in the semiconductor industry. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as a Material Handler. A successful candidate will be skilled in kitting, material handling, and inventory. This individual will provide support to the Production Floor and Shipping. A variety of software systems are used such as ERP and Agile. The pay rate is between $19.00- 21.00 p/hr. DOE

Material Handler (Kitting) job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for receiving production, kitting and inventory management.
• Packing products for warehouse storage and shipments.
• Ability to work across business areas and interface at all levels of the organization
• Perform physical and administrative tasks in receiving, shipping, storing , and distributing orders/material for supplies and equipment.
• Execute Cycle Counting program and investigate and present supervisor with root cause analysis. Implement process improvements as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional teams devoted to efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory reduction, inventory turns, and quality.
• Monitor key performance indicators to ensure achievement of goals.
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to the manager.
• Other projects, duties, or cross-training responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• 0-3 years of industry experience in warehousing / shipping/receiving distribution.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to handle deadlines and work under tight time constraints.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Able to work well with others.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with an ERP System as well as Agile.
• Knowledge of ESD material guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, pull 25 lbs. and carry 25 lbs.
• 30% standing, 20% walking, 50% sitting; 100% indoors
• Must be able to perform activities that include bending at waist, feeling, handling, lifting, pushing, reaching, seeing, talking, works alone, works around others.

Additional Information:

• This is the 1st Shift -5:30 am - 2:00 pm
• Must be able to pass Background, Drug, and Educational Screenings
• Must meet ITAR requirements
