Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Able to perform basic math with units of measure.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong time management and organization; multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proactive with sound judgment and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment including motorized forklift with attachments.
• Receive and maintain equipment certification if applicable.
• Move material within facility to stock machine centers and manage deliveries.
• Keep warehouse organized and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Verify and track material moved (quantity, size, packaging).
• Complete documents for internal or external use.
• Work with minimal supervision and handle moderately complex issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a full-time Material Handler who will be responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by orchestrating thematerial movement throughout the warehouse and/or facility including but not limited to delivery to machine centers, staging, stocking, organizing, inbound and outbound material processing. Working closely with machine centers, trucking, customer service and production management. Duties may include shipping, receiving and/or inventory duties.

• Safely Operate warehouse equipment as needed including but not limited to motorized forklift with various attachments (clamp, fork, probe)
• Ability to receive and maintain equipment certification if applicable

• Keeps warehouse and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging and cleanliness requirements

• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
