Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with inventory systems and record keeping preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, count, weigh and store materials on or from freight vehicles.
• Move material using handling tools including by-hand, pallet jack, hand truck, and forklifts.
• Open crates and containers and prepare items for storage.
• Wrap and secure material on pallets for distribution.
• Inventory stock and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report findings to supervisor.
• Stock shelves and maintain orderly sales floor warehouses.
