Job summary

Rockwell Automation, Inc. in Ladysmith, Wisconsin is seeking a Material Handler/Warehouse Associate to move and track materials across receiving, inventory, storage, and shipping. You will work within the Materials and Logistics team in an air-conditioned warehouse environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, US work authorization, and 1+ years in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics. Experience with WMS/ERP, ability to lift heavy items, and forklift certification are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory tracking tools.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and may operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
