Job summary

Durex Industries, a trusted custom thermal solutions supplier, is seeking a Material Handler in Cary, IL. You will unload, verify, and store materials, ensure counts and part numbers match purchase orders, and prepare items for production across multiple areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years material handling experience.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle for local deliveries.
• Ability to read scales and rulers.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Safety/quality minded and organized.
• Good communication with staff and management.
• Self-starter with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Unload, check and compare materials to purchase orders.
• Verify count and part numbers; receive and store materials.
• Prepare materials for use in production areas.
• Safely transport product to/from local vendor as required.
• Maintain records reflecting receipts and disbursements.
• Inspect, count, weigh or measure materials from incoming shipments.
• Receive in computer system to correct location.
• Perform cycle counting and adjust inventory records.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Fill pick tickets and kits as requested.
• Transport materials to vendor deliveries; load/unload as needed.
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
