Job summary

Composition Brands is seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our Greenville, Michigan facility. You will support safe and efficient material flow by receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing materials to meet production schedules.

The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and focused on maintaining accuracy in inventory and production support, ensuring on-time material availability across Marvel, U-Line, and Viking brands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in material movement and recordkeeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics training or certification is a plus.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload finished product from assembly lines and transport to the warehouse for storage.
• Safely load and unload shipments from transport vendors.
• Distribute parts to workstations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand carts.
• Retrieve parts orders for assembly and sub-assembly areas.
• Keep stocking shelves full and coordinate with area supervisors.
• Use computer terminals to locate material and enter data.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms manually or mechanically.
• Read production schedules to determine materials needed and priority.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
