Job summary

Composition Brands is seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our Greenville, Michigan team. This full-time role supports efficient material flow by receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing materials for production schedules.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to safety while handling up to 50 lbs. You will work Monday through Thursday in a 10-hour shift, using forklifts and ERP/WMS tools to keep inventory accurate and production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support role.
• Proficiency using inventory management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in material movement and recordkeeping
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and effectively (up to 50 lbs)
• Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent; pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Unload finished product from assembly lines and transport to the warehouse for storage.
• Load and unload shipments from transport vendors.
• Distribute parts to workstations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand carts.
• Retrieve parts orders for assembly and sub-assembly areas.
• Keep shelves stocked in collaboration with area supervisors.
• Use computer terminal to locate material and enter/retrieve data.
• Read production schedules to determine material type and quantity needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
