Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the plant, yard, or work site. You will help ensure parts reach the correct stations and that inventories are accurately tracked.

This role requires teamwork, reliable communication, and the ability to operate forklift or other heavy equipment. Prior experience in warehousing is preferred, and safety gear is required to work around heavy rails equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a team and communicate professionally.
• Ability to organize and prioritize projects and information with accurate turnaround under tight timeframes.
• Ability to identify, plan, start, and complete projects or other work that needs to be accomplished.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes and tags incoming material.
• Moves inventory materials to their respective area.
• Delivers parts to areas in the plant where work is in process.
• Performs cycle counting and physical inventories as directed.
• Maintains forklift trucks in clean, good working order.
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to special processes.
